Philippians

8/4/19 - As Pastor Mike begins the verse-by-verse series through Philippians, he takes a look at the start of the church at Philippi (Acts 16) which came to be through the obedience of Paul to the Lord, in joy, and shows how our lives can be filled with joy as well.

8/11/19 - When the Apostle Paul thought about the church at Philippi, he couldn't help but smile and explains why that was so.  Pastor Mike uses that to challenge us to live lives that bring joy to others.

8/18/19 - If we pray anything according to His will, He will answer us (1 John 5:14-15) so the question becomes, what are some prayers according to His will? We examine one such prayer in this study.

9/1/19 - Circumstances that seem bad may actually be good should you just see from God's viewpoint.  In these verses, Paul assures the Philippians that his circumstances are actually advancing the Gospel.

9/8/19 - "To live is Christ, to die is gain."  These are famous words penned by the Apostle Paul but do we truly know what this means?  This study shows how we can magnify Christ in death and in life.

9/15/19 - What should be the description of one who is a citizen of heaven?  Pastor Mike challenges us by examining the Apostle Paul's call for us to conduct ourselves as such.

9/22/19 - We are called to follow the pattern of Jesus and to have the mind of Christ - Pastor Mike applies this challenging passage to our lives.

10/6/19 - Paul exhorts us to "work out our salvation with fear and trembing" because we walk among a dark world.  Pastor Mike expounds on Paul's exhortation.

10/13/19 - We examine how the Timothy, Epaphroditus and Paul himself are examples of people who worked out their salvation

10/20/19 - The con our flesh tries to get us to believe is that our good works can get us to Heaven or at least make us righteous.  The Apostle Paul says otherwise.

10/27/19 - Pastor Mike examines how we go about following Paul's exhortation to press on - what it means to forget what is behind and reach toward what is ahead.

11/3/19 - There are two types of walks that the Apostle Paul mentions in this section of Scripture - those that walk in an earthly minded way and those that walk in a heavenly minded way.  One brings destruction and one brings peace - join us in learning why we must remember both.

11/10/19 - In a world lacking peace, many Christians even suffer from anxiety and worry. The Apostle Paul's writing to the Philippians in chapter 4 teaches us how we can find peace in the midst of our troubles.

11/24/19 - Why is contentment so important in our walk with the Lord?  How do we learn it and why do we need Christ's strength for it?  Find out in this study.
